One piece manga has released its latest chapter 1007 which has not only surprised everyone rather might have made many readers jump off the bed while reading. Honestly never even for a second thought of such a plot. Once again Oda-san has proved himself un-formidable with his storyline.
The chapter is named 'Tanuki-san' which is mainly based on the psychological conditions of fighters who are fighting despite suffering from painful virus caused by Queen. In chapter 1006, Hyogoro was determined to be helpful before he turns into an ice demon and asks his subordinates to kill him before he turns into an ice demon otherwise he would everyone randomly in the hall, and in the end, he was ready to accept his fate. At the beginning of chapter 1007, it is shown the Oniwabanshu and Mimawarigumi captains got defeated by Hyogoro and he was on his to die before turns into an emotionless ice demon. It was an emotional scene because his subordinates were crying and were not happy with the events that took place. Even though they don’t want, they made their minds to free those who got infected by the virus by killing them. Even the members of Animal Kingdom pirates who are known as pleasures and waiters got infected and they plead before Queen to save them since they are his subordinates but Queen refuses to do so and insults them because there is no use for them in the battle rather they turn into ice demons and take down the enemy with them. He even mocked samurais who were covering Copper and implied that he is a pirate and no pirate in the world would be selfless to save others while his own life but Copper proved him wrong. At the last end, before Hyogoro was to be killed, he gives the cure to Hyogoro and cures him. Since it was not possible to administer the cure to thousands of victims within the time limit, so he made his own counter virus from the cure which will neutralize the effects of Queen’s deadly virus. Miyagi and Tristan blow the canon which contains the cure and everyone started to get cured which angered Queen. He attacked Copper by cursing him but pleasures block his attack saving Copper since he saved them the virus. Now tables have turned and Copper changes to the monster point and slaps Queen by saying that ‘stop saying Tanuki’ (Tanuki means Racoon whereas Copper is Reindeer). On the other side, it is shown Cipher Pol 0 talks about the artificial devil fruit which Vegapunk tried to make from the scales of Kaido, since it was a failure it was kept at the isolated lab of Punk hazard. They were hoping that it would be better if that fruit got destroyed in the explosion but least they know that it was consumed by Momonosuke who has the credibility to become the Shogun of Wano. At the end of the chapter unexpected thing happens. Kozuki Oden appears and he is the one who treated the wounds of Akazaya Samurais or so it appears. Everyone is shocked to see and accept the situation.
Many claimed that person is not Oden rather it is due to some devil fruit user or another trick must be there but I feel that Oden is alive and maybe Toki is the one who saved him and drifted in the future. Though it remains suspense for two weeks since the manga is taking a break so there might be some excitement and enthusiasm among readers about the plot of the manga. I am thinking that there might be many more surprises like that in the near future and we all should be ready for that.
